Secure your spot by filling out the registration form below. Date: May 5th, Time: 11am to 6pm. Location: Polo Field #4A/B. We welcome ages 2017-15 from 11am to 12pm, ages 2014-2013 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, ages 2012-2011 from 3:30pm to 5pm, and ages 2010 and older from 5pm to 6pm.
Fall 2024 TEAM INFO and TRYOUTS
Are you looking for a youth soccer club that values diversity and growth in players technically, tactically and emotionally? We coach to inspire players to unlock their potential both on and off the field.
Specifically we're looking for boys and girls born 2017 to 2009 and we can take full or partial teams.
Team formation
Regardless of the level your player is currently playing at (rec / upper house or comp / travel) we encourage all players to attend our tryouts before committing to our club to get an idea of our style of coaching and expectations.
Our club costs are listed below and include ALL fees. We try to be as transparent as possible with costs but please reach out to us with any questions.
All competitive teams practice 2x a week, recreational teams once a week. Both rec and competitive players are expected to have a high level of commitment and discipline to themselves, their teammates and to the sport.
Each Spring we hold tryouts for the next year’s competitive teams. New and returning players are encouraged to tryout and can do so by attending a training session or by attending one of our existing practices. Golden Gate Soccer has a spot for every player interested in joining the club and offers will be made based on skill level, age and availability.
We encourage players to bring friends and teammates!

SFYSL COMPETITIVE / UPPER HOUSE
Yearly Membership Commitment requires tryouts and a full year commitment. Price includes one week GGSC Summer Academy Camp (July or August), Pre-Season Single Day Camps (Fall & Spring), Fall & Spring Seasons (At minimum 2x practice per week + games), 8 week Winter Clinic Program and Registration for one tournament per year for the selected most competitive players.

This is the total financial commitment for the year including club fees, tournament registration, SFYSL league fees, jersey kit, one week camp & clinic.

RECREATIONAL TEAMS
OUR REC TEAMS ARE DIFFERENT. We train rec players with the same focus on player development in technical and tactical ability as our competitive teams and expect the same level of commitment and discipline. Yearly Membership Commitment is highly suggested and includes Pre-Season Single Day Camps (Fall & Spring), Fall & Spring Seasons (1 practice per week + games), and Winter Clinic Program. GGSC Summer Academy Camp encouraged but not mandatory.

Our camps are rigorous but fun camp dedicated to improving skill and game IQ while meeting new friends and empowering young athletes. All skill and ages invited to attend, players will be broken up by level & age.
A few weeks in July and a few weeks in August.
GGSC Winter Academy Clinic

FREE & REQUIRED FOR ALL YEARLY MEMBERSHIPS. 8 one-hour/half sessions starting after in January with our coaches. No games.
PRE-SEASON TRAINING DAY CAMP
$50
FREE & REQUIRED FOR ALL YEARLY MEMBERSHIPS. One day weekend pre-season training to both refocus on the game but also reconnect with teammates. Not open to non-club players, family members are invited to join at the end for our kickoff potluck! Seasonal players are invited to join at $50 for the day, or join the potluck fo free.
Due to pandemic this was not offered but will reopen in FALL - LATE AUGUST. SPRING - LATE FEBRUARY 2023
